Delaplaine Art Center, Frederick MD- Art Instructor

At the Delaplaine, I design and teach youth art classes for ages 5-16 years old.

Franklin Montessori, Rockville MD​ — ​Art Specialist

At Franklin I worked with the Montessori teachers in their classrooms offering advise and teaching students in small groups. I planned and implemented the art curriculum for over 300 students ages 3-6 years old. I taught visual art classes, created art exhibits and organized community based art projects to beautify the school and build community relationships.

Synetic Theater, Arlington VA​ — Visual Art Teacher and Art Studio Director

At Synetic I taught outreach, after school and summer camp classes for students ages 4-13 years old. I worked with the theater teachers to decide the educational themes in order to create the visual art curriculum. I also helped with the design and creation of props and set construction during my time there.

Corcoran School of Art, Washington DC​ — ​ArtReach Faculty

As an Artreach faculty member, I taught high-quality, community based visual art classes for children aged 8-18 years old at THEARC: Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus in Washington DC. I created numerous successful community based arts classes and projects while working at Artreach. My Glitter Portrait Project, created in 2011, has lived on as a popular workshop and community engagement project beyond my time of employment.
